I am thrilled that moly_x will be exhibiting at Minnesota Center of Book Arts (MCBA), between mid-January through March 2011. It's coming up! This is a great venue, and this exhibit could mean some wonderful opportunities for other exhibitions around the country, and possible grants. This is a very receptive community.

I would like a few of these great books from this group. These books do not have to be completed. If you have a book right now, would you consider sending it to me. It will be out of circulation through March, but it will get some wonderful attention. I will guarantee it's safe return, or delivery to the next artist on the list.

MCBA does a great job of documenting their shows, so you will have a nice record. Whoever is in the book may add another credit to her/his resumé. We will continue to look for other similar venues for moly_x exhibitions. There are many book art institutions like this around the country, and there are many university book arts, and illustration programs.

I have dreamed of this exhibit since we started this little project.

Hello partners, i'm back in my hometown so i can work on molys again!, Just to notify that i have several books with me!
Anastasiyas book is ready to send it to Karo

I'm sorry to say it but I think I need to resign from the group. I am too busy with Grad school and working full time to dedicate myself to another exchange right now. I am so so so sorry. I sent the Molys I had on ahead to Benjamin, and am stepping down. I've never actually quit a group before, so I'm not sure how this works. I don't feel right about you guys working in my book when I don't have the time to contribute to yours, so I guess whoever has it right now, maybe send my book back to me?

Romeo and Juliet

Ahhhhh, finally. Sorry if I was making anyone nervous getting this thing out the door. I've been doing a lot of traveling recently and am moving soon so life has been pretty dang busy.

Anyway, I choose Romeo and Juliet as my theme, I know cliché right? but it was the first play I ever read/saw/memorized and I lovelovelove both of the movies.

The 1968 version... (which I have on vinyl record)...

And the 1996 Baz Luhrmann version...

The models for Romeo and Juliet are actually me and my boyfriend, hence the mix of modern and old things (like his cap). The crest on his chest is actually the family crest for Goodwin, which is his last name. p.s. my halo glows in the dark! yay!

And sign in page... Please write your name for Friar Laurence. (this woman is my good friend Smashly who is the only person I know of who can legally perform marriages.

Sorry if the Youtube clips are annoying to anyone but it seemed like a fun thing to add at the time. My Moly should be out the door in a few days.

Not sure if tihs is gonna display properly :)

I based my entry on Kurosawa's adaptation of Macbeth in his movie, Throne of Blood (Kimonosu jo) at the very start as Washizu and Miki find the ancient woman / spirit that predicts their future.

After this I encourage everybody following my entry to do whatever they like around Macbeth/Throne of Blood, feel free to keep the story lineal or not, change carachthers, the clothes, ambientation, total freedom

Hi all! I recently post a link in the left sidebar of the blog with a lot of printable shakespeare plays divided by gender, ther's comedies, tragedies and histories, and also a link for his sonets almost there. I'll bought my moly once the libraries re-open i can't wait to get started! :D
